To celebrate 25 years of broadcasting in Christchurch, Radio Ferrymead held an on-air party where announcers, request and library staff got to choose two records to play and then shared the memories attached to them. Both, participants and listeners, enjoyed the experience.
Some early station recordings were played and the whole morning had a reminiscent and nostalgic feel to it. A special replica blue Bell Colt chocolate radio cake was baked for the occasion.
